24 June 2025, Taguig City, Philippines — The Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE) proudly welcomes Carelon Global Solutions Philippines as its newest member, strengthening the coalition’s collective mission to promote inclusive and gender-equal workplaces across the country.

Carelon Global Solutions Philippines was officially welcomed by PBCWE last Friday, the 23rd of May, as the coalition’s 50th member, marking the beginning of a meaningful partnership. As a healthcare solutions company committed to a diverse and equitable workplace culture, Carelon expressed appreciation for the opportunity to be part of the coalition and shared their enthusiasm for contributing to the advancement of women’s economic empowerment in the Philippines.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Carelon Global Solutions Philippines to the coalition,” said Ma. Aurora “Boots” Geotina-Garcia, PhilWEN Founding Chairperson & President and PBCWE Governing Council Chairperson. “Carelon’s malasakit or caring approach reflects their people-first philosophy, demonstrating how their DEI efforts translate into impactful programs such as employee benefits, leadership development, and partnerships with organisations like PBCWE. We look forward to forging a strong partnership with Carelon, which will empower people and organisations to embrace the principles of DEI and create equitable workplaces where all voices are heard, valued, and recognised.”

“At Carelon, we believe in creating an environment where all associates can thrive,” said Nicki Agcaoili, Chief Country Executive of Carelon Global Solutions Philippines. “We are excited to collaborate with PBCWE and fellow member companies to share insights, learn from one another, and collectively build a more inclusive future for the Filipino workforce.”

PBCWE Executive Director Julia Abad, for her part, onboarded Carelon on PBCWE’s suite of membership benefits and services, including policy development support, training, and capacity building programs, and access to GEARS or Gender Equality Assessment, Results and Strategies – a data-driven, results-based diagnostic tool that helps companies benchmark their WGE and DEI maturity; and offers actionable recommendations and strategic action plans to support improvement, sustainability, and innovations.

Carelon’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion aligns with PBCWE’s mission to drive meaningful change in the private sector. Their membership further strengthens PBCWE’s growing network of companies championing leadership, opportunity, and equity for women in the workplace.
