Working with the Philippine Government
PBCWE collaborates closely with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to promote gender-responsive corporate governance. Through joint initiatives such as the Census on Women in Leadership Roles in Publicly Listed Companies, we provide evidence-based insights that inform SEC’s evolving sustainability and gender reporting guidelines.
Key outcomes of our collaboration include:
- Advocating for mandatory gender data reporting under the SEC’s sustainability framework, aligned with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
- Supporting the transition from “comply-or-explain” to mandatory disclosures, making gender diversity a measurable and strategic business priority.
