9 May 2025, Pasig City, Philippines – Global Dominion Financing, Inc. (GDFI), one of the fastest-growing non-bank financial institutions in the Philippines, provides various loan products and services to individuals and businesses—including car and truck financing, business loans, and sector-specific loans for professionals such as doctors.
As a member of the Asialink Group of Companies (AGC), Global Dominion, under the leadership of President and CEO Patricia Poco-Palacios has taken a significant step in strengthening its commitment to Workplace Gender Equality (WGE), Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE), and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by joining the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE) as its 46th member. This milestone was officially marked during the Welcome Event held on April 28 at GDFI’s office in Pasig City.
During the event, the PBCWE team, led by PhilWEN Founding Chairperson and President, and PBCWE Governing Council Chairperson, Ma. Aurora “Boots” Geotina-Garcia, introduced the coalition’s work and its thriving network of 49 industry-leading companies in the Philippines. They also highlighted the benefits that GDFI will gain from its membership in the coalition.
“Our membership with PBCWE is a significant step toward ensuring that we are on the right path in achieving our WGE, WEE, and DEI goals for GDFI. We want to do this the right way, and PBCWE’s guidance will be invaluable in that process. In fact, even before joining PBCWE, we have been striving to cultivate a more equitable and inclusive environment for our employees.
Our workforce consists of 49.83% women and 51.17% men, and I am humbled to lead GDFI alongside 148 women leaders who share our vision. Through our collective efforts, GDFI is committed to serving women entrepreneurs by providing accessible financial solutions—and our partnership with PBCWE will only strengthen this mission,” shared Patricia Poco-Palacios, President and CEO of Global Dominion.

As part of its PBCWE membership, Global Dominion will undertake the Gender Equality Assessment, Results, and Strategies (GEARS)—a tool developed by Investing in Women, an initiative of the Australian Government. GEARS is the first workplace gender equality assessment tool tailored for the ASEAN market, offering actionable recommendations and insights that help PBCWE member companies identify gaps, opportunities, and strengths in their current WGE strategies.
“We are excited about this partnership with GDFI, as it truly showcases their commitment to championing gender equality. Their ongoing efforts to bridge financial gaps, support women entrepreneurs, and provide accessible financial solutions are a testament to their dedication to turning business aspirations into reality,” remarked Ma. Aurora “Boots” Geotina-Garcia.
By joining PBCWE, Global Dominion—alongside other AGC member companies—sets a precedent for other non-bank financial institutions in the Philippines. Their commitment to WGE, WEE, and DEI exemplifies how investing in these principles contributes to a financial sector where women of all backgrounds can thrive, fostering personal and professional growth.
